Introduction to Mini Program Development

WeChat mini-programs are without a doubt a huge aspect of doing business in China. They are very powerful, lightweight, and convenient software that we do not even need to download on our phones to access. Whoever you are, you use them every day, and every year more and more people are using them within the WeChat environment, across different age groups, and for various kinds of use cases.

Yet for many foreigners or not tech-savvy individuals, getting started with WeChat development is difficult. There is a language barrier for most of the study materials, and also in part because of the technical skills required in the setup process.

In this interactive and hands-on workshop, Kudzai Mawoneke, Founder of Desnode Technology, will walk you through the process of building WeChat mini-programs, giving you the information you need to get started on your WeChat mini-program development journey. The workshop will also be beginner-friendly, so do not worry if you do not have any programming experience!

We will build a simple mini-program together, guiding you each step of the way. You will be able to give your app a bit of a personal touch, keep the code to reference later, and the best part, even be able to run it on your phone and showcase to your friends your cool work!
