Isabel Carrillo Ramiro
Full Professor in Chemical Engineering at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM), is a Vice Dean of Students and International Affairs of the School of Industrial Design and Engineering (ETSIDI) since 2011. She is responsible of the design and development of the internationalization policies at ETSIDI-UPM. She obtained her Ph. D. degree in Chemistry from Universidad Complutense de Madrid in 1996. She belongs to the Analysis and Optical Characterization of Materials Group of UPM. Her research area focuses in the development of direct methanol fuel cells, DMFC to develop cheaper and lighter DMFC, for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) and autonomous underwater vehicles (AUV). She is also interesting on conducting polymers.

She is Educational innovation in Chemistry is other of her research lines. She belongs to the Chemistry Didactic Group of UPM. She has been member of the Committee on follow-up to the SUFI chair created by the company SUFI, S.A: E.U.I.T. Industrial, Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, (2010 -2014). She is member of Member of the Spanish Hydrogen & Fuel Cell Technological Platform (PTE-HPC) and the Thematic Network of Excellence: Fuel Cell Network for a Sustainable Energy Future. She has participated in more than 30 research projects and 30 educational innovation projects. She has published more than 100 papers in impact factor journals and conferences.
